I have created artwork for media projects including CBBC, ITV and FirstLook TV. The work ranges from facial composites made during interviews to sketches and image enhancement for television programmes.
FirstLook TV
I began working with FirstLook TV producers in 2014 on Inside the Mind of a Serial Killer, drawing quick sketches of criminals while being filmed. Later collaborations included Stalkers Who Kill, The Jury Room and Nurses Who Kill.
The programme work often called for fast, expressive sketches rather than finished portraits. See the FirstLook TV work.
Facial composites for media
For a CBBC Newsround special, I interviewed children, drew portraits from their own descriptions and made further sketches from descriptions given by their friends. I also worked on a short documentary with Steve Pendleton, who had been blinded in a helicopter crash. The film followed him describing himself and his daughter through portraits drawn from his memories.
